As previously reported, New Jersey is seeking to “requires registration of certain vacant and abandoned properties with municipalities and provides enforcement tools related to maintenance of these properties.”
A5084/S1155 has been replaced with A2877/S1149 that is progressing.
A2877 had a 2nd Reading and was reported out of Assembly Comm. with Amendments on 12/14/2020
S1149 was referred to Senate Budget and Appropriations Committee on 10/8/2020 after having a 2nd reading in the Senate Community and Urban Affairs Committee
